A note to all those receiving comments along with your reputation points:
If you feel that the comments left for you are abusive in nature (or you feel that the person leaving you the comment is abusing the rep system), then please contact Admin and we'll make a decision on what next steps to take (if any).
Please do not expect that Admin will edit or remove comments, just because you don't like/agree with them.

I am having a lot of fun with the new reputation system. I have received and given rep points as a gift for special occasions. I look for opportunities to give rep points to new members to encourage them to keep posting. Anonymous rep points are appreciated, but I really enjoy points left with creative messages. When we put a member on ignore, is it possible not to even show
"******* is on your ignore list, this post is not visible"
(or whatever it says)
Typically, if we put someone on ignore, and they KEEP replying, curiosity is bound to get the best of us, and that can be even worse IMO
If we can't see ANY reference they replied wouldn't that be better. I know, putting someone on "ignore" is extreme, and I don't even want... [Read More]

I suspect as long as posters can leave anonymous (and nasty) negative red point feedback, threads are going be derailed by the people who have received them complaining about how it was unfair or how they were misunderstood. I really wish we could just loose the reputation points completely. Is there any chance that might happen?
