I don't know if anyone has commented on this or not, Didn't really know how to search for it. Anyhow one thing I've noticed about myself is that it is absolutely pointless for me to go to any type of live event. Why? because I get so distarcted by everything else except what I paid good money for good seats to see. I played basketball and got to go to the men's college games for free, I would always missed the good dunks and stuff because I was to busy looking around me, or distracted by... [Read More]

Hi, I am new to the forum. My son (8) was diagnosed with ADD last year and has been on meds for over a year now. We are currently on Focalin and having some success but still having breakthrough uncontrollable tantrums and anger. My main concern at this point is his lack of friends and close friendships. I have had severe ADD all my life and it has taken its toll. For the last 4 years I have had bad anxiety and panic attacks and my ADD is out of control so I want to try stimulants to help with the ADD and see if it helps my anxiety also but have never taken meds for it. Has anyone had the same problem? Did the meds help with their anxiety too?.

Hey y'all !
a little question which has been "running through my mind" lately !!!
When you do stuff, do you ever wonder "waw, would this be my ADD ? or is it just 'my personality'".... ?
for example... i see a lot of people on here attributing things to ADD which can / could / may be influenced but which in my opinion aren't necessarily related....
I am always late for my bus = is this my add ? ... probably...
