Arguing - Debating - ADD
Dec 11, 2017 - 11:16 AM - by BuckisMunz
I grew up in a family that loved to talk about the hard stuff. We never shied away from conversations that were difficult.

Some people when a debate or argument arises shut down, and don't want to talk.

I can respect that to some degree. Cuz I spew things out of my mouth and think out loud. I may say something I don't agree with, but being verbal is how I process information at times. Sometimes it really helps me, other times I just need to shut up and listen.

HRT & ADD Medication effectiveness
Dec 09, 2017 - 4:39 PM - by JellyBeanBear
Anyone here on HRT?
Anyone notice a significant difference in medication effectiveness when having a 'bleed'?

I know that progestins are supposed to interfere with ADD medication effectiveness and that ADD is worse during the luteal phase (PMS phase)
but,

what about during a bleed? (when on estrogen but not progestin)

curious

thanks

Few weeks ago I had a customer giving my staff some issues. I have a deeply ingrained habit of 'fighting for the people to my left and right', so I confronted him. Granted, this guy deserved it, but I ended up... [Read More]

ADHD Inattentive - don't have some typical symptoms?
Dec 08, 2017 - 12:08 AM - by gibsoncat
I'm a woman in my early twenties who's recently been diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive subtype. Been reading more about ADHD and specifically symptoms related to the inattentive subtype in women. There are some major things that I notice in myself (inability to focus, not listening when being spoken to, forgetful with dates and appointments if it's not in my calendar, etc) which led to my diagnosis in the first place.

Just wondering about a few things that don't seem to apply to me... [Read More]
