hey everyone. So i realized today that I feel tired, fatigue, irritated EVEN IF i get 7/8+ hours of sleeping.

As I was lying down on the bench, looking at eucalyptus trees, I realized that my parents always commented on how much I slept everyday. The sad part is that I never felt fully energetic most of the times.

Now, vague memory about reading sleep apnea popped up in my head, so I rushed to the library to read about it.

I always believed that I slept well, etc. However, I realized that it was wrong. I had NO problem falling asleep before, but sleeping soundly was rare. Now, I even have falling asleep.

I sleep so lightly that it is not restful, I don't get REM sleep which means that I also do not dream like I used to. I am afraid that I have been suffering from sleep apnea for YEARS and did not realize it until now. To get tested, it will be super expensive also...

I am beat; it's kind of depressing that even if I sleep, I will still feel lethargic, and feel as if my heart is pounding.

I sleep like the dead. I have trouble waking up too. I feel tired/sleepy all the time but I can't take a nap and it takes me an hour or two to fall asleep (unless I take a unisom). I think my sleepiness is due to Lexapro though. I wasn't like this before.
