This local workshop program was recommended by DS's psychological/educational psychologist. DS has attended one of the workshops already. They are week-long 11-12 hours a day of intensive introspection. They were featured on the local news the week of his program. I would HIGHLY recommend this to any youth/teen. The groups are all "good" kids, with various backgrounds, family life, troubles, etc. They get pretty deeep and emotional in there, and there were many personal stories shared, friends made, self-esteem and confidence built, self-discoveries, and many tears shared amongst the group. If you know a youth/teen that needs a "fire built" inside of them, this is a great way to do it, if you are anywhere in the greater Phoenix area. :)

This sounds like a good way to spend my summer :)

It's going to be boring until school starts, having just moved to the area (we go into the new house in a few weeks). Plus, it's close to the new house.

Edit: The link brought me to a homepage of some sort. I can't find the details about the program.

I have been looking for a coach. There is one in Scottsdale that looks fairly interesting.
I have not searched the phoenix area yet.

You might look at On Track Tutoring and Family Support Services in Scottsdale. They have been VERY helpful to us.

I am trying to stream line information for each state so it can more easily be found.

This is a collection of ADD support services or clinicians such as psychologist who diagnosis ADD- as of this post writing all hyperlinks provided work and go to the place mentioned.

Feel free to add any and all legitimate ADD services available in Arizona except support groups (http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57026) and doctor (http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9406) as these are covered in other threads already -

Sense this is state wide please do not forget to mention the specific area served.

This information area can only be as good as the contributions by members from the state offer.
