I have just been approved for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) . Shortly I will become eligible for Medicare. I am curious about forum members experiences using Medicare to pay for AD(H)D therapy and other psychiatric services. Issues with prescription medications?

Just learned one dismaying fact: Medicare doesn't kick in until 2 years after your 'date of disability'. Which means I will have to wait until September before I become eligible. Fun, fun.

Any suggestions as to what I shall do in the meantime?
