The Seattle Support Group is no longer run by Carol Flannigan as she retired. This support group is now an affiliate of ADD Resources (www.addresources.org (http://www.addresources.org)) and information on their monthly meetings held at University Hospital can be viewed at their website. The meetings are the 3rd WEdnesday of each month from 7-9 p.m. with usually 50 or more people in attendance. Meetings are free and open to the public. A small group of non-ADHD spouses meets at the same time in an adjoining room.

What does one do at a meeting? I read a notice about a recent meeting - something along the lines of listening to someone speak for an hour. Speak about what?

Thanks!

Its typically a topic that is of interest to ADHD people, and I have typically found that its a pretty good discussion. And the presenters are aware that the group is very ADHD so they often treat us differently in a positive way. Sometimes its a group therapy session, sometimes its some worksheets to go through in a group. But its usually pretty good. That's why I try to go.
