This is my undergraduate program I am in. How would you explain this to an employer during a job interview? This is all from the college website....

The Integrative Studies program provides an opportunity for students to obtain a broadly based education and forge relationships among the elements of their educational experience. It provides bridges among elements in the undergraduate learning experience by emphasizing multiple perspectives and comparative, global, interdisciplinary, and intercultural forms of learning. This program is on the leading edge of undergraduate education, reflecting the interconnections of fields of knowledge and learning in our contemporary world.

Students experience a special program of learning fundamentals for life and work in a variety of coexistent contexts. The program integrates forms of learning and disciplines with creative, learner-centered, and interactive instruction. The curriculum is organized around a core of courses which emphasize the interconnections between theory and implementation, values and knowledge, and experiment and evidence made available by discoveries in the arts, humanities, sciences, ethnic and gender studies, and professional studies.

Those are the core courses I am taking...
INST 300 Approaches and Interconnections: Scientific Research and Knowledge Production (3)

My first impression is that you'd like to work in the environmental field, maybe on the public policy side (perhaps as an employee for a gov't agency or an activist). Is this off-base?

I ask because you will have a different answer for the different kinds of job you want (and the different places where you want to work). I say jobs and places because I assume like most ADDers I've met you don't have one "dream job".

If you can provide some more details, we might be able to give some more specific advice.

I thought it sounded like Office Marketing or Managing for an Engineering or Legal Companies to start off.. moving upward after.
Maybe take some Clerical Classes.. I know I know, but they really help you as an engineer or Professional. You would be surprised.

My career goals are all over the place. I wanted to get into human resources but the Business Administration degree was useless to me because I already took economic classes and everything that went along with it. I want to go into the government sector for employment, but that is very difficult to do. With my luck the way it has been going I will probably end up going into the trades to become an electrician!
