View Full Version : Found an Android app to monitor drug shortages

Hey all -

I've been trying to find different apps to make life a little easier. So far, I haven't had the greatest luck with actual organizational tools, but I did find one to monitor drug shortages.

It's provided through the Drug Information Center of the University of Utah, using information from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

It has a list of current shortages, resolved shortages, and unavailable drugs through ASHP, and a list of FDA reported shortages. It does seem to be up to date, especially on the feed function.

Easier to access at times instead of using web.
I have both sites bookmarked, but this is sweet on my Droid!
Going to pass on app recommendation to my Neurologist.

iPhones are so shiney/sleek/durable.....oooo yes and proprietary.....hhmmm i know for sure that it was on the lower part of the totem poll with its C-Objective programming interface......yeah nice medical application....but really now?....use something with a universal the android. practical os better than proprietary practical..haha
