Everyone talks about it but what is it? The website doesn't tell either.

I tried fly lady for awhile -

Its basically a system for getting your home organized and cleaned - and setting up systems to keep it that way. It's very systematic.

There is a stress on decluttering. If you join the Yahoo group you get reminder emails throughout the day to guide you through the process.

I think it is a decent system but It did not work too well for me. I didn't have the right frame of mind and my perfectionist tendencies got the better of me.

I'm still at "clean your sink"....which is a big deal fro me because it really spills out to other things when I feel good about at least keeping my sink clean....

Over the summer with I've not kept up with it. Lack of routine all around. I've started doing it again this morning

I just got introduced to the flylady system from this forum. The ideas are good especially for those of us who get sidetracked easily.

I think what is important (and is totally lacking in my case) is to have a system and stick by it. You need the foundation before you add, and get totally overwhelmed by, all the details.

I was wondering if the "SHE" they talk about is meant to be an ADD woman? Because the way the site is set up with all the structure (that we often need) makes it seem as if so many women have that problem. I

It's just that the ADD women, as with most things, start it gung ho, but their ADD traits get in the way from ever following through.

I don't think I can stick with a system that someone else puts for me. I think I have my own system, I'm just sometimes too lazy to stick with it.
