Has anyone in Canada been told recently of a price increase for Dexedrine?
My pharmacist here in Ontario just told me the price was increased by the manufacturer, but the jump is large - like 40% - so my $95CDN monthly dexedrine bill will now be something like $135CDN.
Has anyone in Ontario recently filled a scrip and noticed a higher price?
I'm taking 5mg tablets and paying $0.33 per pill + pharmacists fees at Walmart

Yup, a big jump. I now pay 19.32 for 30 x 5mg tablets and 30.12 for 30 10mg capsules. I'm not sure what that represents as a percentage increase but I sure noticed. I'll check back and see if I can find records as to what I was paying previously.

The pharmacist noticed too and commented when I asked about it.

Does this have anything to do with the shortage?

I have 100% drug coverage, so I won't notice the increase. But, I thought the shortage was due to "improper" (aka street sale) of dexedrine. Possibly this higher price has to do with the shortage and trying to deter the street sale of the script medication.

Can you tell me which Canadian pharmacies sell 5mg tablets? Thank you.

Hi Rodney, I'd really like to know that too. And which are the best psychopharms in Canada and if Montreal, Toronto or other cities on the East have the real dexedrine, heart shaped and orange? Much appreciated. Going nuts after 19 good years writing on Shire which is barr which as we all know sucks...

I busy the little heart shaped dexedrine (5mg) Take 10 mg 3 times a day. And now, again there is a shortage. I use Loblaws Pharmacy in Toronto and since over a week ago they've been backordered.
Its not good to be off a drug this quickly. Anyone else out there hear about this problem?
I'm getting bad headaches, poor concentration and angry. The last time it happened it was due to the problems in the US.

What is the problem now??
