I am going to start taking strattera, and me and my wife is trying to have a baby. Is there any side effects that will effect the baby? My doctor did not know, he said there probably was not any effect, but I want more opinions.

Animal studies do suggest possible teratogenic effects. In English, that means I wouldn't take it if I were planning on getting pregnant, and would stop ASAP if I got pregnant while taking it. There is no evidence either way of its effect on human fetuses, however.

There have been no documented negative reproductive effects on men taking Strattera that I am aware of.
