I've only watched a few of the vids so far and haven't researched anything. The messages I've seen have been valuable to me in my continual journey of satisfying my spiritual thirst and I wanted to share them. Hope you enjoy, if you're interested.

I agree. Soothing clarity was how I descrived it to a friend the other day. :)

His message is becoming very familiar.
All the wise say very much the same thing. When you listen to enough, you see the similarities.

I like to listen to people like this and attune to their calm.

He speaks the truth, in a very clear way.

I can never hear enough of this sort of thinking.

I only got to see the first three videos - I found the third one to be the best one of all - perhaps the most relevant for me - The first one about anxiety I think he made the distinction between momentary anxiety and nervousness and long term anxiety and nervousness which I feel to be important because long term anxiety can cause harm and may require a more medical approach but the acceptance part with regards to our emotions is spot on - Video two - I MUST work on I am so bad about feeding into thought that are not healthy - Last night I found one of the causes on my anxiety is my tendency to feed into emotions that are not mine by entertaining untrue thoughts - I remembered how to "not answer the door to trouble making knocks"

I will return in the days a head and finish watching these videos -

I am off to get kitties ready for clinic

Thank you for sharing these videos at a time when I need to hear these things the most!

Just in case anyone is interested, you can access full documentaries at the following website - Mooji is the particular one I chose to share, but there's many, many other choices:

Culture Unplugged - Watch films (documentaries, short films, talks & more) at this online film festival. Discover film-makers and their voices. Learn about social issues prevalent in the current world. Vote for the art & entertainment that is evolved and exists for transformation towards new future. Promote consciousness about humanity & environment - our culture, nature & life driven by the spiritual state, individual and collective.

Yes. I agree. Daviji has a similar sounding voice. I especially love the vids that show his total focus on the person he's speaking with and you can see how he looks at them with wonder and pure love and he looks like a proud parent when they get it. :)

Do you ever listen to Pema Chodron or read any of her books? She's soothing, keeps it real, has a sense of humor.

You're very welcome! Sorry it took so long to respond. I forget to check my threads. :o

I'm not sure about the podcasts. If you go to google and enter "Mooji Satsangs" you can go to his website and may be able to find more info.

I'm so glad you enjoy him! He's a special soul that brings me amazing clarity.

"Shaky, Unfulfilled Social Interaction"

A scientist speaks with Mooji about social interaction. "You will know when you are in the presence of auspicious company. When you have conversation, it must be that the highest conversation is inspired - otherwise, for what purpose? .. just sharing noise." (Mooji)

That's right baby. Losing self consciousness, losing dependence on others for self-making, don't have the snags of self-creating, don't get sucked away or hooked.

Social interaction being dismissed as meaningful via social interaction - Alrighty then - no one minds if I simply don't get it - While I do understand not relining upon other people to create a sense of self nor do I even think there needs to be a scenes of self - to me we are part of every thing and every thing is part of us - Being isn't the same of being a part of being.

Maybe it is a perception difference or a belief difference - not really to sure - but I spend years in social isolation per my choice The isolation made it's purpose I didn't have one.

Sorry but without more words I simply do not understand - I have to have my world in context other wise it simply fades into notingness - I struggle greatly with Buddhist concepts always have even when I am surrounded by them - It like hmm hard to put into words - some of it I comprehend other parts I just go "meh" - Maybe some parts are simply not mine to understand

Yes totally mead. As someone once said "I can give it, but can you take it." Just take what you can. I follow the seeing/gnosis first, words second rule, personally. It's a corny cliche, but there's no need to confuse the finger pointing to the moon with the moon itself. I spent years totally losing the plot because of that.

"A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song." ~Lou Holtz Word.

And mead, that's kind of why I like grumpy old, neutral, imperfect "don't listen to me" U.G. Krishnamurti so much. I'm sure he was a jerk, but he didn't ask us to beatify him. He asked us to stop listening to him and live. He said that "awakening" was a calamity, lol.

Then I am "awake" for sure - LOL!
