Well for the second time I have gotten off my Bi polar meds due to excessive weight gain and sleeping 14 hours every night. Im starting my ADD drugs this week and I did well on concerta but the doc suggests Straterra. I havent heard very many success stories on straterra. Any ideas on Straterra versus concerta?

i was on straterra and it sucked , i was so sleepy. concerta keeps me awake atleast.

Don't take other people's anecdotal experience to heart. Stay with your doctor's advice and give each med a fair choice. Our brains are often very sensitive---what one person experiences may not happen in your brain. The road to a useful med is slow and frustrating.

I took straterra for about a week and a half. At first I noticed an increased sex drive. Then, after a week, my vision started getting blurry, so I stopped taking it.
