There was a recall on that 2.5 dosage in some areas due to a miscalculation in it's strength. At the time my son was taking it, but they straightened it out and replaced all outstanding dosages.
This was a great option for my son when he started taking meds at 4 yrs old. Yes he's a severe case. His specialist usually doesn't start any kids on stimulants until after 5 yrs. He quickly learned to swallow meds and now takes Adderall XR, but this was a great place to start to get an idea of where his threshold for stimulants is whithout splitting pills. I always worry that that measure is way too imprecise for children especially one so young.
