ok, so I cut up a whole bunch of hubby's old t shirts.... then I dyed some of them.... and I made them into a rug.

.... isn't that what everybody does with old t shirts?? :rolleyes::p

Cool! Do you know some funky knotting technique, or is there some kind of grid that the strips are tied to? Love the color, too.

It's easy peasy latch hooking.

It took like 20 t shirts, or you can also cut up a set of Jersey Knit sheets.

I used to get the latch hook kits when I was a wee child in the 70's :p They were fairly small though. I am assuming the technique is still the same? I am itching to go to the hobby store and pick up some rug canvas. I always have an abundance of white t-shirts on hand, since my husband wears one every day under his shirts.

Have you thought about posting your work on Pinterest?

I've seen it, but I wasn't entirely sure what it was.... is it like etsy?

Locker Hooking is going to be my next endeavor. If nothing else, it'll be good for using up scrap of ribbon, fabric, etc. :D

It's more of a place to show what you've created. People can follow your interests and you theirs. I go there for ideas. I haven't posted any thing I've done there, but I do go on and poke around for ideas.
