I think i have ADHD. I have a test tomorrow and i have been trying to study it for past few days but just not able to concentrate so i could not get all my informations into my head. And to make matters worst, i became forgetful, such as wanting to buy hamster foods but procrastinated it for almost a week. sometimes i forget too much and get tired to do it. So my hamster did not have hamster foods for a week.I also had forgotten to hand in an important assignment due today because i forgotten. Tomorrow i am going to get earful of scoldings or nagging or some questioning only if she is in the good mood. I am scared now and anxious. Sigh. I couldn't concentrate for my test. What can i do? This is not first time. I usually only concentrate better at the last few hours before the test or exam. Help me please!!! My grades are terrible. I am always last in class. By the way i am college now. I have this problem only in college and persisted for 3 years. I think it is also my PMS now. I feel so tired too. But i slept enough last night. And now if i wanna sleep i couldn't fall asleep because i have a test tomorrow which i had not finish studying. And even i try to study now i get so distracted wiith computer and anything that prevents me studying and concentrating. Helps!! Sigh
Thanks..

I am not a doctor, but the symptoms you've mentioned are indicative of a couple possibilities - ADD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression...It also sounds like "Exam Panic" is a possibility, which may or may not be indicative of Anxiety Disorder...
If it is an option, I would suggest getting an ADD Evaluation, as well as possibly a full clinical psychiatric evaluation. This way, you would have diagnostic paperwork with which to verify your condition. Once you have that, you can begin working to treat it with medication, and further, under the Americans with Disabilities Act, you are entitled to some accomodations.
That said, without a diagnosis verifying the condition, you aren't entitled to (in fact, are probably not allowed at all to) any of those things.
I suggest you seek out your schools Psychological/Counseling services and get these things done. They may be covered under your Student Health Plan, otherwise, there may be a fee.
Hi - you sound like my wife's nephew (18 y/o) who eventually went for a psychiatric consultation/evaluation where he was diagnosed with ADHD and placed on medication. Money was an issue so I split the $350 bill with my sister-in-law.

Oh
I am not american there is no such thing for me. I am graduating soon and don't think i will be seeing a sch counsellor at this point of time it is LATE.
I like your suggestions. I will try thanks.
I am going to toilet to study now. Yes you heard that- toilet. Perhaps, Maybe gonna help my concentration.
I wonder why it is so difficult for me to see a psychiatrist or counsellor. Ever went to one. But sometimes my symptoms are very mild and i can live with it. But during exams or stressful times i cannot.
Bye.
