What is Success?


There was a post about by somebody who was looking to write an article about adults with AD/HD who are successful.


But what is success?

I will feel successful when I can look around and see my house in order....not because I just crammed to get it clean, but becuase I suddenly realize that it's been clean for a week and it was effortless to keep it that way.

I will feel successful when I make all of my appointments.

I will feel successful when I can have a logical conversation with someone and not wander off, hearing only 25% of what they say, nor choke on my words and end up babbling nonsense.

I will feel successful when I become a consistent person in all areas of my life.

I will feel successful when all of my good intentions become real actions.

I could go on...but I'm boring myself!

Loaded question, Tara....gosh, even Dr. Phil has an answer to that one.......:) I have to give some thought to that......one thing is for sure...I am successful if in any aspect of my life I am giving to person/people on a daily basis......knowing I am making a difference in someone's life.....and the world does not have toknow about it either....when my life is NOT about ME 24/7 that will be my first sign of success....more coming...good question.
