today i bought a book called "ART, aggression replacement training - a comprehensive intervention for aggressive youth" by arnold p. goldstein, barry glick and john c. gibbs.
some schools in the city where i live have tried this training, and so i thought i'd read up on it - especially since i've started "lecturing" about adhd, add, asperger syndrome and other neuropsychiatric disorders/conditions, and i've felt "helpless" when i've been asked about what "treatment"/training there is for these disorders/conditions...
another reason i want to read this book is that, as a teenager, i *definitely* could have used something like "ART", because i used to have these *massive* outbursts of anger *often*...
i can't remember *why* i suddenly became absolutely *furious - i think my brain suddenly went into "overload", and basically just "shut down"...
anyone heard of "ART"?
anyone tried it?
