Hello again, I wanted to give tonight a 3 shot deal!. LOL, ok, that last cup of java got the mind a turnin. OK the supplement product id like to briefly post is a mixture of herbals and nutrients. This one, seems more energizing, and is top priority on my list to try. Its called PhytoMind.

The "stimulant for the Brian" as it is called, consisting of 5 different substances. The first substance as some or most of you know is PEA (phenylethylamine). PEA is an endogenous (naturally produced) neuroamine, sometimes called a neurohormone. It increases brain attention and activity and like Prozac - alliviates depression in 60% of patients, but unlike prozac- has no contra indications or side effects.

People in love have particularly high brain concentrations of PEA , as do long -distance runners., which may explain the antidepressant effect of endurance exercise, more so the runners high, but actually more so, natural endorphans.
Plain chocolate is one of the best food sources for PEA- a possible resason for the enthusiasm and passion shown by a chocoholic!
According to scientists, PEA improves Mood faster than amphetamines and is non- addictive , quoting(J neuropsychiatry Clinic Neurosci, 1996 spring issue) Its a antural treatment in depression which acts over a few hrs or days. PEA is particualarly suitable in cases of manic depression, for which another particularly effective supplement- SAMe , is not recommeneded.

PEA is equally suitable fo rthose in good health who wish to increase there intellectual performance, their sensitivity, and sex drive. Ok, You all may think ,well where does ADD come in, ok, here is the next part!

Phytomind also contains many other phytonutrients which act synergistically with PEA.

Mucuna Pruriens extract, standardised in L-Dopa, has proven anti-depressant, anti-anxiety , and Neuro-Stimulant effects. Its a direct precursor of dopamine, the "reward" or "pleasure" neurototransmittter. (NOte, unknown if it actually does effect that part of the brain.

Bacopa Monnieri extract has a powerful , proven effect on memory (acquisition and retention), clarity, of thought, sharpness of reaction and capacity for learning.

Ginkgo Biloba extract , improves circulation and brain oxygenation and is a much-studied , potent anti-oxidant, as you all know.

Last, Eleutherococcus extract or siberian Ginseng is an adrenal adaptogen which boosts resistance to stress and extreme excercise and conditions.

Pytomind contains 200mg of PEA, 100mg of Bacopa , 75mg of Mucuna Pruriens, 75mg of ginko, and 50mg of Siberian Ginseng.

My thought on this product for ADD, is mainly the effects of Mucuna Pruriens, which iv recently read another study which showed a similar effect of L-dopa , which is used for Parkinsons, and this product, although less side effects with Mucuna Pruriens. Now PEA, im not sure, but some persons may be sensitive to this chemical. Im not sure if it would improve mood faster than amphetamines, as quoted, but sure is worth a try. PEA, also , i cannot remember offhand, is also in several other products. But possibly, taking a lower dosage with amphetamines, may potentiate such, but just a long shot guess and not to be given as advise.

Well, tonight, I posted 3 substances, Phenibut, Picamilon, and Phytomind. Each having there own way of effecting the neurochemical process, as for ADD, would each of these benifit. Its hard to say. Even though amphetamines, are the main drug used for ADD, at least 2 of the 3 show psychostimulant properties, along with a built in relaxation mechanism, gaba. Sorta like the well known combo of taking adderall, Ritalin or DEx with some klonopin or xanax to wane off the anxiety. But , in theory and opinon, possibly if one is taking a benzo, they could lower there dose , and take Pheibut or Picamilon since there both GABAenergic, plus added bonus, get some of the stimulant effect. Or if either one, works really well, taking Phenibut or picamilon with a psychostimulant, may aid or boost add and other effects quite a bit. BUT to wrap it up, all this information , is research , and NOT intended for medical advise or even go buy it without taking to your doctor. I more so like posting 2 ways. One is my experience with a drug or natural product and 2, researching a substance and posting what the research study found. I would be no use to any board or person if i just made up or guessed at my own cocktails. ALthough i do somwhat theorize, or opinionate such, like well possibly taking phenibut with adderall may help boost effects of the drug or help with add, but i will most certainly advise its only a long shot guess and not research.

THank you
