To all on this board:

I just wanted to say thank you to all who post on this board. I can come here like a regular person and post things and be treated well. It is not like that on all boards, some are very antagonistic.

I have truly enjoyed posting and reading what others have posted. I think the board here has a friendly, helpful aire to it.
It is really great to be treated with dignity and respect when I post or someone posts in response to me.

I really just wanted to say THANK YOU!! Give yourselves a pat on the back!!:) :)

James -- Couldn't have said it better....and agree.....0f course....and you know the expression...what goes around comes around...meaning if you're GETTING as much from forums as you say, then you're probably GIVING just as much....

I agree with all of you. This place is what members like YOU have made it: A warm, friendly and safe place to open up and share personal stories, ideas and comments. Thanks to each and every member that has posted in the Forums, and encourage everyone else to participate.

Hi All,
I must agree with everything posted above. I find this place really great. I only happened upon it per chance and am really finding it so helpfull. I even get a good chuckle along the way. I myself am a moderator at a depression forum..and I agree that some forums can become downright antagonistic...I think that everyone involved here deserves big thanks. I am sure glad that I was lead here...I am addicted already...

I found this site by surfing the net for info about ADD. I have never posted on message boards before so I don't know what they are like But after reading several posts . I knew I'd stumbled upon something special. I was not alone. I feel like you are my friends now.

Let me say, that I absolutely LOVE these forums but they do cause problems for me. I am currently taking adderall which works wonders for me usually, but my boss isn't here today and the secretary is sick, and the other guy in my office is at lunch so I never really started my work today and have been hyperfocusing on this site since 8:00am this morning. I've just been refreshing the new posts button and typing random stuff. Normally I can type about 75 to 80 words a minute, but when I am on adderall my hands literally start flying on the keyboard and I get really carried away. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE these forums and they help me out so much, but I wish I there was a setting that would lock me out of this site during the day. I just can't stay away.

I get caught sometimes too. Although most times I think it just helps to bring reality to a head and plant the responsibility squarely in my lap where it belongs..

This whole forum experience for me has been shifting my ideas and attitudes dramatically. I have a much clearer vision of who I am and what my triggers are. I know so much more than I did.

I said I wasn't going to make any changes in the first year of being treated for ADHD. I now have a coach in place and the meds have kick started an awareness I hope to be able to put to better use.

I see many here that appear trapped at the keyboard. I don't think you are alone. For me it's time for drywall mud and some measurements on the new rafters.

One step at a time.. micro steps if need be.. find a place to begin no matter how small and I learnt to begin.. on a good day that is.. ehh
