Hi i just started taking adderall this friday and i think its 20 MG but am not sure. I wasnt even dignosed. I told my doctor that i fell asleep when i tryed to pay attention in geometry even if i wasnt tired so he said to take this. Yesterday (friday) was the first time i took it and im not sure if it was the adderall itself or the mindset but i was amazed at how proficant i was at paying attention and taking notes. Can the drug start working this fast? and is there any complciations with taking adderall in corolation with zoloft (5o mg) :X. thanks alot for anyones feedback :D

That is a little concerning to me you were not diagnoised with ADD/ADHD and were given Adderall just to help you in school. You may want to seek a second opinion, that is a little scary since Adderall can be addictive and also damage the heart with prolonged use, it's a very serious drug and shouldn't be taken unless you really need it to function (in my opinion). Please be careful and be safe! Make sure you are getting your blood pressure and pulse rate checked regularly at the Doc's....

Adderall has immediate effects, but it does not build up to a steady state. However, your doctor should not prescribe it without a proper diagnosis or reason to believe that a proper diagnosis could be made. I suggest a second opinion as well...
But to answer your question again, yes, it is not only possible that Adderall would have effects like that - it is virtually impossible for it to not.

Hi Nibbs,
Were you given Adderall for AD/HD or narcolepsy?
