I am the mother of a child with ADHD. I tried everything I could find for the condition with little results. At the age of 7 he started taking adderall. At first it made such a big improvement that I thought he really needed it. The longer he took it though the more side effects he had from it. His dosage went from 5mg to 10 and then to 15. It was getting ready to go to 20 when I found a natural product called beCALM'd. On the adderall he would lay awake for an hour or more trying to go to sleep. He didn't want to eat anything. He got to where he didn't enjoy anything. His personality would go from one extreme to the other.

He took the adderall for 3 years. Someone told me that serotonin was supposed to help the condition so I went on the search engine to research serotonin. I found the website for the beCALM'd product. There was so much information on the site that I learned more than I had from reading all the books about ADHD. He has been taking the beCALM'd only now for 2 years. All the side effects of the medication is gone and his personality is more even. It used to go from one extreme to the other. I am now a distributor for the beCALM'd product. I work from my home and talk to mothers everyday about ADD/ADHD. The difference between the beCALM'd and medication is beCALM'd gives the brain the nutrients it needs to help restore the brain chemistry. Medication uses what you already have and gets more benefit out of it but over time it actually depletes. That's why the doseage goes up with more and more side effects overtime.

This reminds me of the user reviews on download.com. They're hilarious. Half of the reviews are done within 5 minutes of each other and are ridiculously glowing and say things like, "Vonage is a win for the consumer!" The other half of the reviews either trash the product (usually with believable detail and chronological spacing) or just say how ridiculous the first few posts are.

Funny how many people are willing to believe that something isn't a "drug" so long as it's over the counter. I mean, it's not like you need a prescription to become a crack addict.

does it work ?

or is it a scam?

It's not cheap at $39.99 to $49.99 and we men in the 235lb need like 1.5 bottels a month at that price it'll be like $100.00 month.

please fill me in if this product worked for you BeCalm'd

Scam in my opinion.

couldn't find using forum search, but I'm pretty sure I've read a thread regarding this vitamin.

I'd like the share the following from crazymeds:

A lot of people are going to feed you lines about how you can deal with mental illness through therapy, prayer, meditation, and by taking various herbs, vitamins, supplements and amino acids,

and by practicing Yoga or similar arts, by changing your diet and various lifestyle changes, and so forth. Well all of those things are really good. I do a lot of those things. .. I do most of those things.

They are all part of a balanced mental health diet. For some types of mental illness for a lot of people those things alone may be the answer. I'm talking about mild to moderate depression, slight anxiety, moderate compulsions, stuff like that. Not being seriously sick in the head.

Not bipolar disorder.

Not epilepsy.

Not schizophrenia.

Not clinical depression that keeps you in bed staring at the ceiling for weeks at a time.

Not obsessive-compulsive disorder where you're checking to see that the door is locked for half and hour before you can leave your house.

Not anxiety/panic disorder so bad that the physical symptoms are obvious to another person. Or agoraphobia so bad you can't leave your house. Ever.

Not ADD/ADHD where you can't hold a consistent train of thought for longer than 10 seconds.

If they have to advertise by spamming message boards, they're obviously not trustworthy.

It's a shame the FDA can't regulate these businesses.

For 100 bucks a month, you can fill a script for something proven to be effective in treating ADHD.
