It took me over an hour to find the "Forum Leaders" link at the very bottom of the main page ...pretty well hidden. Could the forums that have a moderator include a sticky at the top of that forum saying who the moderator is? And/or put a sticky in the "New Users Help, Questions ...etc" forum that lists all the current moderators for various groups.

I had the same experience, actually, trying to verify who was the moderator for the Creative sections...

Thought that possibly my suggestion has just drifted out of the admins' consciousness in typical ADD fashion ...so just consider this a friendly reminder ;)

It seems like it would be pretty simple for moderators to add a sticky to their various forums ...or even just a reply to an existing "general info" sticky in each forum. But maybe there's a reason why the moderators should be harder to identify ...is there a concern that they'd get too many questions/complaints?

I doubt this is it. The moderators are all volunteers, they're doing this because they like to help! :)

These are good suggestions, but completely up to each individual moderator.

I'm not entirely comfortable being so "in peoples faces" about the moderating. There are some here that carry a much heavier load than I do with much less fanfare. Lest we forget the humble hard working contributors and moderators that make this place work so well.

I am comfortable being visible if people need to find a moderator without as much fuss as you had.
