FIRST EFFECTIVE SLEEP APNEA DRUG IDENTIFIED
Researchers at the University of Chicago have identified the first effective drug for treating sleep apnea, a life-threatening sleep disorder in which breathing slows or stops during sleep. The drug, mirtazapine, cut in half the number of times breathing slowed or stopped during sleep and reduced the number of times sleep was disrupted by 28 percent.

I had no idea a drug could help. I use a cpap machine myself. I'm not real fond of it, nor is my wife.
