I am going to share with you all a simple pleasure in life. Something that any American can do, that will increase their happiness a million fold...

Every time you get one of those campaign ads in the mail...you know the kind: a crappy peice of cardboard with "RESIDENT" and your address slapped on it, sent to everyone in the world...don't rip it up, or throw it away.

Instead, take out a pen, and write three simple words on it: Return To Sender.

Then drop it back in the outgoing mailbox.

Bonus points if you can get everyone else's out of the trashcans, and RTS those as well. Then poor guy running for County Clerk or whatever goes to his campaign office one day and low and behold! 40 of his own ads sitting in his mailbox, all RTSed. How depressing and demoralizing for him!

Good. ...teach him to send me crap.

That cracks me up. My friend will take all the credit card applications he gets (since many of them don't require stamps) and he will cut his name off the stuff and mail it all back to them.

But that's big buisness, I think that sending campaign ads bad is kinda mean spirited...

...... =(

Why would you want to hurt their feelings when they are just exerciseing their freedom to run for something and trying to get their name out there.

here's another one:
i live in houston.
the land of overtaken land.
take all those hideous little signs that developers
pay ppl to stake literally 20 in a row
on every median, side o' the road, beautiful if it only didn't have
those developer signs...
grab them. dump them on the developers model home front yard.
during the day
when there are ppl looking at the houses.

but yeah. its a simple pleasure!
i'm a horrible person.
i know.
i just do not think that every scrap of land should be built on.

hey Keith, wih me its not just a simple pleasure, its become a vengance!!! :D (evil grin, wicked laugh)

for many years ive been flooded with requests for donations from some charities-many of which seem to me to be questionable at best (& here i would love to name names but i dont know if thats allowed), election flyers , statements that claim that ive already won a prize etc...
i either RTS them, stuff them into their own s.a.s.e., or scribble on it "deceased"
& ship em all back.
glad to know im not alone in thrill of (small) victory ;)

Eh that is funny :)

How about sometimes when you get frustrated when u go to a supermarket or any stores to buy something, and someone gave u so much coins. It is unbearably heavy on your wallet. And sometimes when they could have just give a single coin they ended giving u plentiful of small 5 cents to make a 20 cents. Haha.

How about one day if you are feeling unhappy, take the many coins and bring to a cashier u hate who also appear very rude and slacking on job, bring the many coins up to pay so that will make the fellow irritated. Heh heh. I am evil. LOL. Okay, I only think about it, i have never done this before coz i haven't came across a rude cashier yet.
