My tics seem to go in high's and lows.. well not lows but more the normal pace. When it's normal it's not too bad, I can normally hide them by laughing coughing stuff like that. The high's are bad.. I really don't want to go anywere I just want to stay home and sleep. I started taking clonidine recently that hasn't really helped it when it's worse, my gf says that the vocal part is alot less.

Hi bigbowlingdude.

My son has TS an his tics seem to swing in highs and lows as well. Over the years I have noticed that they tend to occur more frequently in the late fall, winter and early spring - I have always wondered if the amount of sunlight has anyting to do with it, though hae not found any research that would confirm or deny it. Stress is also greater in that time period for him as well with school and the holidays.
