required ingrediants:

1. tomatillos( FYI they look like tomatoes but are green, when you go buy them, make sure that they aren't too hard to the touch nor too soft. If in doubt ask a store clerk.

2. chiles-green or red

3. garlic

4. oregano

5. salt

steps:

1.peel the tomatillos
1b- take the tail/branch thing off the chile
2. burn them slightly on a hot pan(this is optional!)
3. put them in a blender along with the other ingrediants.
4. blend until it looks like a sauce.
Note: if you find the sauce bland add a chile, if its too hot add a tomatillo. Also, add other stuff to taste.

Note: if you want to make sauce for enchiladas, the process is the same but you have to boil the tomatillos until they are cook, but not falling apart(I'm not sure how to do this part). Also, some people strain out the seeds.

Some other options: the tomatillos don't have to be cooked at all.
