This is my hubby "famous" phrase

I'll get to it later, it's daylight and don't need the light right now

i'll just turn the switch on and off five times and see if that changes anything

...it will take a year to be changed b/c it can't do it itself and i won't remember
til i try to turn it on again and again and again...

I think this thread is very funny. One of the add quotes I saw in some thread here has become standard fare in this home. It's the "hey look, string!" quote. It's a lot like the fishing one of Garry's.

Remembered it was burned out, but forgot to get light bulbs--oh well I'll get to it som. ... hey that isn't supposed to go there, I better fix it right after I ., . . you put it up to the broken glass, it encompases the glass, metal part that fits into the outlet and you can unscrew it from the fixture.

Now maybe you were being sarcastic and my ADD mind didn't it? I am just trying to live, here people.

Back on topic--I flick the switch on and off and then have to think if I paid the electric bill on time all the while not realizing the TV is on in the other room

No I really didnt know what it was for

I just use my needle nose plyers when I have a broken bulb

Trust me " It really sucks when you forget to check to see if the power is off at the switch "

I hate getting the bulbs, climbing up on the chair with 3 dictiornarys stacked so it will be tall enough, taking the cover off the light, put the little screw thingys in your mouth so you wont drop them, unscrew the burned out bulbs, then stand there on the wobbly chair and wonder how the hell you are supposed to put in the new bulbs when both hands and your mouth is full...and you know if you get down.....you will have to go to the bathroom, so you will take the screw thingys out of your mouth and lay them down...come back from the bathroom, get the good bulbs,climb back up on the wobbly chair, put the bulbs in, put the cover back on.........then wonder where the stupid screw thingys are..........ack....as long as my computer works...who needs lights anyway.

hmmmm, i'm a bit hungry,.... what's this? light bulbs in the freezer??? :cool: i knew they'd turn up....

i'll change that light bulb right after i finish my snack.

Did you know the reason why a light bulb gets stuck in the socket.....It's because the bulb was too powerful for the socket and I guess :rolleyes: so don't quote me, that it kind of fuses due to the heat..... thought you would like to know.

see the patches I was supposed to sew onto my kids' taekwondo uniforms, grab them

go looking for the sewing basket

oh hey, there's the vase I meant to list on ebay

go looking for the digital camera

find it, gotta charge batteries

go look for charger

oh hey, there's the light bulbs

I wonder if we should change over to fluorescent to save energy

go dig out the electric bill to see just how high it is

oh hey, it was due yesterday, pay it quick, dispatch kid to the mailbox with it

to heck with it all, log onto internet to amuse myself....:D

I decided that I needed a few days off and I realized that I was out of vacation time. I figured the best way to get the boss to send me home was to act a little crazy --- he'd think I was burning out and give me some time off.

I came in to work early the next day and began hanging upside down from the ceiling. Just then one of my co-workers (she's {insert your most UNfavorite haircolor}... it'll be important later) came in and asked me what I was doing.

"Shh," I said, "I'm acting crazy to get a few days off. I'm a light bulb."

A minute later the boss walked by and asked me what I was doing. "I'm a light bulb!" I exclaimed.

"You're going crazy," he said. "Take a few days off."

With that, I jumped down and started walking out. My co-worker (the {insert your most UNfavorite haircolor}) started following me, and the boss asked where she was going.

Jenni, this is me! This is me! Do you know what type of ADD you are? Please PM and let me know what is working for you. My psychologist want me to see a psychiatrist to put me on meds because: "I have almost no short term memory."

well certainly not more than one - because they'd start having some kind of great conversation and forget all about it in the first place!

too right stef:) when they finally stopped talking due to being interrupted by a non adder , it would be daylight again so they can put off that project for atleast 8hrs more:D
