Ok its only a little over a month till Christmas

I love Christmas time

I love the happy atmosphere in the air

I love wrapping Presents

I love decorating the house for the kids

I love to help the Kids write to santa

I love Christmas parties

I love that all the family spends so much time together

BUT

I hate Christmas Shopping and all the hustle and bustle in the shops

I hate that I can never find exactly what I want

I hate the fact that some people started their Christmas shopping in August or earlier and they are all done and ready now, knowing full well that i will be still be doing it on Christmas eve.

I hate the fact that people buy so much food that their fridges and freezers are overflowing just in case they might need something * the shops are only closed for a day or two at the most* how do they manage the rest of the year?

I hate knowing that i have spent X amount of money on special presents and on boxing day they will be half price in the January sales.

What do you like and dislike about Christmas ????????????

Love CHristmas wish we could all keep it in our hearts all year long!
The movies, the hope that families will come together, that there is more than just spending money on each other that makes us human...all about HOPE for me.

Wonder how it could be better IF I had all the money to spend on loved ones? The only negative is expectations of the perfect present when there's no money.

The part I dislike is all the stuff that goes on before the day....
worrying about money....
worrying about not wanting to go to parties giving by certain people....
worrying about what I'm going to do to keep the kids busy during Christmas break.... :D

I hate that radio stations play Christmas carols and nothing but the day before and the day of, but on the 26th not a carol to be heard - yet, Christmas actually lasts from Dec. 25th to Jan. 6th (by the Christian calendar, anyway)
