This is just a thought for some of you to consider. Sometimes we think that little things don't often make a difference, but in my opinion they do. I often think that ADD and depression can cause me no tot see the world as clear as I should. So a few days ago , I cleaned some of the windows, inside and out , at my home. They are so clean and it makes a difference in the way I see out them. Instead of being cloudy and dirty they are clean and everything looks clear and nice. I know it takes effort , and believe me, I thought about cleaning them many days before I actually did. So if you are having a problem getting things doe, just do one room at a time. This is just a thought, so I thought I'd share it with all of you. Go get that windex.....Have a great day!

hey guys, speaking of cleaning windows...I dont know how many people know this but getting good streak free clean windows happens best when using newspapers...(or newsprint). It works great on bathrooom taps as well (just as shiny)....just a quick cleaning tip...

Speaking of cleaning. I always feel great right after I get my car washed....vacuumed on inside and washed all over....I don't do it myself....(laziness, too overwhelming...who knows?)....but it sure feels good to drive away from the carwash with a nice clean car....especially when they add a different and neat flavor of air freshener.....:D

Joan my car is worse than my house lol . I wouldn't let anyone else see it in the state it's in but if I clean it up some maybe I'll be able to face the guys at the carwash :) It's a really good idea. thnx

Ive got you all beat for cleaning

I have a wife that most men would die for as to how clean she keeps the house

what a pain though shes always at me to put my toys away

So im building a new room under my deck and attached to my workshop that is "My room and she is not allowed to touch my toys"

Problem is when I lose one of my toys (ussually in plain veiw she says she will just laugh at me as she sees me looking every where for it when it will probally be right there in plain sight under my nose.

hmmmmmm maybe I should let her come to visit me in my new playpen once a week Grin

Cobweb: I'm just the opposite with anyplace I live.....I could NEVER hire a maid, for example, because I would be SOOO embarrassed to have her see my living quarters....In fact all while I was at school I rented a room from a lady in her house....oh my God...keeping it "neat" was a tough, tough job....I had to keep my door closed all the time...so she wouldn't see how messy my room was is...and think I'm showing disrespect for her home...which I wasn't of course...it was just so hard for me to keep it neat, clean and organized.....:(

I agree, cleanliness and even more importantly orderliness helps me keep things a little less hectic and distracting.

With that in mind, every morning I have to make my bed. It drives me nuts to have an unmade bed. Also, I have to close the lid on the toilet. Not just put the seat down like the ladies always bug us to do! I have to put the seat and lid down... I think this is partly because I'm worried something valuable will fall in! (It's happened!!).

Does anyone else hyper-focus when cleaning? When I go to do a simple cleaning (like dust and vacuum) I have to make an effort to not get so obsessed with getting every nook and cranny spotless and suck up every dust bunny behind & under all the furniture! Otherwise, I'll get that hyper-focus obsession and spend way too much time on it, literally staying up late to finish.
