These are place that make my head spin ! I feel like I can't think straight and I get very,very grouchy.....lol...

What places do you just hate, because of how the make you feel?

Paula: I grew up in suburbs of Mass. and so went to Canobie Lake Park as child....so many years ago I can barely remember it! The merry-go-round was always my favorite and I think is a favorite for most kids......(have you ever been to Disneyworld in Florida or Disneyland in California....I've been to both and both are great!!) In any event, as a child, I used to love train rides and little boat rides....

I agree with Chuck E. Cheese being quite noisy...kids love it...but parents get headaches there:)

What places do I hate: zoos...just don't like them...any amusement part that just have rollercoasters...yuck. I also don't like water parks...afraid of rides at these places....And agree with you about roller skating or ice-skating rinks....make me not feel so great.....

Bowling alleys I'm okay with:) Kids birthday parties? Well, if
the kids aren't yelling and screaming the whole time...:)

Maybe you can take your kids to the library sometimes or a book store...which are quieter...:) or to the park....and of course you're just in time for the 5th Harry Potter book....(spoke with my sister yesterday who has two kids -- 7 and 10 and she told me --otherwise I would have no idea)

I do bring my kids to the places you mentioned, those are teh places I enjoy and they do also .... The others I posted are those places they have been invited and have been talked into "staying" :rolleyes:

Canobie lake was wonderful today !!! Great weather, I got some color to my face...lol...

I so enjoyed getting to spend the day with my girls and watching them have such a good time. I found I wasn't overwhelmed by the place today. I'm wondering if it might have had something to do with the fact I only went on 2 rides. I didn't feel rushed and I enjoyed just sitting, watching my girls and people watching.....
