For a little while now, google has allowed users a short window to cancel an email. An article here (http://email.about.com/od/gmailtips/qt/undo_send.htm) describes how to do it, and this article here (http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2009/03/stop-cancel-undo-sent-gmail-email/) tells you exactly what you have to click, if you've sent something impulsively.:)

I just sent an email to a media contact that wasn't finished. The email was relatively blank and looks like crap. I don't know how I sent it.

Thanks for posting this! I didn't know I could take it back lol. I don't know how many half-finished e-mails I've sent, but it's a lot.

There are settings, which allow you to adjust how much time (max of 30 seconds, I think) you have to "undo" an email.
