View Full Version : Finding ADD Meds in Honduras

I am having problems finding ADD meds in Honduras. I was diagnosed with ADD at 50, and it was a life changer to use 20 mg Ritalin SR for most of the time since then. I'm now 68 and actively retired in Roatan, Honduras. I was very satisfied with the Ritalin SR, but cannot find it in Honduras. It took me a year to find a doctor who has access to Concerta. It works ok, but with slight differences. Now however Honduras has been out of Concerta for 4 months. Hopefully will have some this month.

It makes a huge difference in getting projects done, and on not losing my train of thought in conversations.

Any advice on ADD med availability in Honduras?

I currently take Medikinet retard. It's a german generic containing methylphenidate hydrochloride. It costs about 2000 lemps and it comes with 30 tablets.

It's designed for kids, so the extended release lasts about 8 hours. It works for me, even though I'd like a more extended release.
