This is an article containing 50 questions that can supposedly "help free your mind".

I don't think mine is free as a result, but at least it's been enjoying the ride. lol

quoted from the article:

These questions have no right or wrong answers.
Because sometimes asking the right questions is the answer.

Just revisited this and thought it was worth making active again.

Here's a copy and paste of some of the questions:

These questions have no right or wrong answers.

Because sometimes asking the right questions is the answer.

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?

3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

5. What is the one thing you would most like to change about the world?

6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?

7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?

9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?

10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

11. You are having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?

12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?

14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?

15. What is something you know you do differently than most people?

17. What is one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?

18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?

22. Why are you, you?

23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?

24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?

25. What are you most grateful for?

1. How old would you be if you didnít know how old you are?
My mind would still be immature, my body would still be worn out.

2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
That depends on whether it's something I would have enjoyed,
or whether it would have bored me to tears.

3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we donít like and like so many things we donít do?
Because someone has to do those things, and it seems like it's usually me!

4. When itís all said and done, will you have said more than youíve done?
I will have done more laundry than anyone else except the family from
"Nineteen And Counting." Those who have an autistic kiddo will understand why.

5. What is the one thing you would most like to change about the world?
I'd eliminate hatred.

6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
What I'm doing now ... being a stay-at-home-gramma.

7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
I definately believe in everything I am doing to help my family.
Wish I could do more.

8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I wouldn't be living, I'd have died 22 years ago. ;)

9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
Hm ... more than 50% for sure. Even doing nothing controls the outcome.

10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Now this is one that's changed - from trying to be a perfectionist to just
getting the right things done.

11. You are having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
I point out the things I like that person for.

12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
I'd wait till the child was old enough to understand and value my advice.

13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Yes!

14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
I'm not sure I've ever seen insanity. I think some people are good actors.

15. What is something you know you do differently than most people?
Understand my autistic granddaughter.

16. How come the things that make you happy donít make everyone happy?
Wait . . . what? Are you saying that chocolate doesn't make everyone happy?!?

17. What is one thing have you not done that you really want to do? Whatís holding you back?
Travel. Lack of money and a travel buddy.

18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yep, chocolate. I won't let go. I WON'T!

19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Probably England, so I wouldn't have to learn a new language.

20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
Only when it seems to be taking much too long (more than 2 minutes)

21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
A joyful simpleton because a chance of pace might be nice. ;)

22. Why are you, you?
There weren't any other options listed.

23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
Not always. :(

24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
When a good friend moves away.

25. What are you most grateful for?
That I finally learned what is wrong with me after all these years of asking:
ADHD and Anxiety.
