i'm so so confused, there are so many threads started with so many different supplements and so many different things to buy, omega 3. right now i only have dmae and dha pills. i dont even know if those work. no one on these forums seems to ahve any experience iwth them. i just want to take some supplements everyday in the morning and later to balance out my system. but its so confusing i dont know which ones to buy. there are just SO MANY.
Omega-3 is probably the one with the most scientific research and that still has not been "proven" to help ADD.
so i take an omega 3 (perhaps DHA contains that?) pill a day. is that enough in terms of pills?
DHA is an omega 3 fatty acid found in oily fish. DMAE I'm not as familiar with, but it also comes from fish (sardines and anchovies, primarily).
As far as whether it's enough, I couldn't tell you. You're the only one who can tell that. There aren't really many studies of the effectiveness of these supplements, so I couldn't even offer a prediction. :(
interesting, there must be someone out there who has had successful results with supplements?
