started at 18mg didnt see anything.
36 mg i saw some results.
54 mg i saw results again. my doctor stated that i wasnt saying 'yeah'/'right' as much as before when he would give me insight/advice. i felt like i still had problems sitting still at this point. i told my doc. i was still feeling fidgty at times.
72mg. i am able to sit still in class without the desire to move about and constant shift in my seat, able to listen, able to talk/follow convo and read far longer than before.

i did notice i occasionally would have a brief tremor in my arm.
i have dry mouth, and i ve been drinking a lot more water (the only time i get up out of class now is to go to the bathroom).

i was told 72mg is a high dose, but for the most part it works. i was thinking about trying 36mg again tomorrow since i dont have school and see how i react to it.

hi there,

as you may know, our reactions to stimulant therapy are highly individualized, meaning that what works for you may be waaay tooo much for another, and waaay tooo little for someone else.

i am not on concerta, but my 11 year old nephew is. he takes 72 mgs a day, and does extremely well on it. he was on everything known to man before they got the right med and dose. so if the 72 is working best, and your doc doesn't have a problem prescribing it, i wouldn't be concerned.

as for dry mouth and other side effects, often they lessen considerably after your body adjusts to the med. good luck!:)

i think i might be overdosing, im a bit jittery, sweaty palms and not to calm (stil hyperactive). i can work ok and impulse is down.

im thinking about cutting back to 36, since i had similar effects on 54mgs.
