A women whos ADD with a 13 year old daughter with PMS !!!! :eek: ( women isn't medicated at this time)......


I'm trying to have patience and understanding.....

We just keep butting heads together...The other day I was so mad at her I swear my face turned bright red and steam was coming out my ears...I shouted some stupid thing at her, slammed the bathroom door behind me and stayed in there till I calmed down...

I'm seeing my Dr. tomorrow to talk about my meds. I've been doing some reading about the different meds for ADD... The Wellbutrin I was taking just wasn't working for me, I stopped taking it....

It's a challege having a teen with PMS but I can't stand the way I'm handling it right now. I'm guessing I'm feeling guilty, I know I need to be taking medication and I'm feeling she's paying for it....

Paula: I too had the WORST PMS as a young teenager...even at 11 years old. I was awful to be around...worse than I am now....hang in there....and if you've reached a tolerance level with Wellbutrin...well it happens....good luck with your appointment tomorrow....there are lots of options out there for meds...let us know what happens....with your appointment and with your daughter:)

Just be glad you both don't have PMS at the same time...lol
