In an effort to clarify non written intent/emotional content of the statements in my posts on this forum , I use emoticons. The availability of emoticons is greatly appreciated.

I am often frustrated at the low number of emoticons currently available per post. There is approximately 1050 bytes in each emoticon giving a total available content of about 6000 (6kb) per post.

This allowance is, in my humble opinion, way too small.

Suggestions

1)Would the forum owner and administrators please give consideration to increasing the current allowance for emoticon usage ?

2)Could the range of emoticons available be expanded?

I've got all kinds of lovely emoticons, if you want any submitted...

6kb/post is a bit outdated, I'd say, since the slowest modems are 14.4 kb/s. I don't think it'd be too much of a stress on the servers. However, it's really up to the admins as far as removing the allowance...so whatever they say goes. I'm sure whatever they do will be reasonable.

I agree a few more emoticon would be nice... just a thought. auntchris
