View Full Version : ADD Waiting Poll
healthwiz 01-19-05, 07:53 PM Yup, thats spelled wrong, on porpoise. This poll is about weight and add? How overweight are you, underweight are you, or just right are you?
Go to http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/bmi.htm to calculate your BMI and enter it in the poll.
Make any comments as usual about weight and ADD, eating habits, etc!
:)
Jon
Jami Lea 01-19-05, 07:56 PM I am 5ft 81/2in and I weigh anywhere from 115-125 It constantly fluctuates and I get alot of stretch marks on my butt lol
Jami Lea 01-19-05, 08:18 PM oh hahahah...mine is 18.6...what is the purpose of this again?
healthwiz 01-19-05, 08:22 PM To see if ADDers tend to be skinny, overweight, etc.... I am overweight myself, and I don't exercise enough, and I eat to many carbs.....
Jon
Still Waters 01-22-05, 10:23 AM Mine's 23.2... My eating habits are atrocious at the moment! A steady staple of coffee and cigarettes interspersed with random meals here and there. I gained 45 pounds with my daughter  and lost that pretty quickly (she was born in March). I leveled off though at about 135 (I'm 5'4") and now it won't budge... lol my body's probably freaking out about the sparse calories and I hate to think how messed up my metabolism must be . The lack of appetite is almost certainly stress related, but sometimes I just don't think to stop and eat!
Nucking_Futs 01-22-05, 03:06 PM It said 31.5 whether that is good or bad I wasn't too sure. I mean I know I've got more then my fair share of junk in my trunk but the little o-meter cleared it up for me with the really big in red writing...OBESE,,,HEY, FATTY YOUR BLOCKING MY SUN!!!!
*deep sigh* I'm 5'6, 190 pnds and 31 do I even stand a chance?
Nucking_Futs 01-22-05, 03:08 PM p.s. nice trick mispelling it and all. You knew we'd have to finish once we got here it's our nature. But, I'll let you know a secret...MY HUBBY LIKES MY JUNK!!!!! lmbo
free2bme 01-22-05, 08:42 PM Futs, you're Hubby is a very smart man....except for the times when you say otherwise, of course!!
ok, i'm 5'7 125-130 lbs. it says 19.6.....and that i'm in the 7th percentile. so if it's actually true that 93% of people my age/height weigh more than i do........where the heck are they??? and why am i constantly feeling the need to suck in my stomach, squeeze in my butt, and stand up as tall as is humanly possible???? LMAO!!!!!!!!!

herekittykitty 01-23-05, 10:01 AM 108lbs, 5fit2inches. BMI of 19 or so. I've lost about 20lbs over the past 6 months or so. And boobs! The boobs are gonegonegone...come baaaaaack!
I've always found the BMI scale a bit misleading. I'm 45 y/o, 5'9", and 183 pounds currently. I'm in at about 11 or 12% body fat right now. I like to ride road bicycles and participate in between 4 and 6 races a year that vary from 62 to 104 miles each in length. When I'm training, my body fat drops to about 8 or 9% usually and my weight goes to about 175. I've never had my BMI below 24 in my life!
If people were described physically in relation to the five digits on the human hand, I would be the thumb.:p I don't think the BMI is a solid indicator of health, as I'll never be down below 160 pounds like the chart says I should. But, I bet I can run the doctors who created the chart under the table! I use it as a general reference along with heart rate, blood pressure, O2 exchange, and body fat as indicators of general health and upcoming athletic performance ability.

You and Jim would get along famously. he's a moderator here and loves riding.
I am 5'4" about 140-145 lbs. I feel i am overweight, but according to the scale I am at 24.5 or so. I would like to lose at least 20 lbs, to be back to where I was a few years ago.
Mine's 19.1.
I'm 5' flat, and weigh 98 lbs. It's telling me my ideal weight should be 102 :D
I'm healthy, and that's all that matters.
auntchris 01-30-05, 04:34 PM I am 5' 4" and 127 and am at the 10%tile they I am at a normal range. Yeah;)
