I was taking Zoloft for about 2 months for OCD and GAD and SAD and it worked quite well, but then after being on the max dosage for a month, it just stopped working. So, I was switched to lexapro, wellbutrin, and adderall xr. I began the adderall xr at 10 mg a day, and it worked for a couple days, then stopped. So then i started taking 20 mg a day, and it worked at first, for a week. Then the dr bumped it to 30 mg a day, and it worked for a couple days and then, you guessed it, it stopped working. By now u can probably guess I was getting pretty ****ed off. So, I decided to take 60 mg of Adderall xr at once thinking that Itll surely work now. But, I didnt even *******g feel it. However, when I drank TONS of coffee (around 6 cups or more), it works for a little bit. I am thinking about switching to dexedrine, but I am sure the same thing will happen with my tolerance. What in the hell should I do?

i can understand why you would doubt that, but yes I do. I was extremely hyper as a kid, always getting in trouble for touching stuff, impulsively yelling things out during class to make kids laugh, unable to stay on task, could not stay in intimate relationships over a week, fired from jobs from lack of interest. but, before i started taking zoloft or lexapro, the adderall worked like a charm. i actually did all my work, cleaned my room, cleaned my moms room, LOL, and was very confident with because i could focus on conversations. i also have very mild OCD, and that is why i take the lexapro. but, im thinking that the OCD is just to damn mild to even bother to treat.

I'd try the adderall by itself again, since you were having success. Sometimes we have a tendency to "scratch sh*t that doesn't really itch." You could also lower your dose of lex.

would dexedrine possibly help if adderall stopped working?

have you tried the regular Adderall? I my body tends to get used to meds fast, but I haven't had that problem with regular Adderall.
