Hi, Big...or appropriate forum maintenance person...

I'm wondering why, 9 times out of ten, when I click on "New Posts", the repsonse I get is..."Web Site Not Responding"...?

Does anyone know?

I really like the "New Post" category on other sites, as a way to stay current, not miss other posts/posters.

Especially for those of us who get lost in the forum (directions have always been a problem for me)-this is an important feature.

Is there anything I can do to enhance the chances that I get connected when I click on "New Posts"?

I have not experienced this much lately although last weekend the forums seemed to be down for me for a while.

I rely heavily on the "New Posts" feature too. The saving grace is that the popular threads will come up again as new posts so you don't miss much. Another strategy is to use the advanced search function and isolate the days posts, or whatever time frame you need.

The board being unavailable or returning an error of some kind is likely a result of maintenance needing to be done or a glitch in the server where the board is located. It's impossible to make a free service like this work flawlessly but with enough donations (hint hint :D ) I'm sure the owner and admins would love to have it on a more reliable server.

This feature has also been working fine for me. You may want to clean out the tempory internet files in your website browser and see if that helps.

ADD Forums has been in the process of being being transerered over to a new server and there have been some problems over the past week. Everything should be all set with in the next couple of days.
