I don't believe that it is. Imipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant. It has some serotonin reuptake inhibition & some norepinephrine reuptake inhibition. I haven't heard much of it being used lately for ADHD.

I know desipramine is another TCA that is a very potent NRI. My doc wants me to give it a go because im at the end of my rope with strattera. Also taking vyvanse.

I take Vyvanse & Amitriptyline! :) Although Elavil is very sedating. Some TCA's can act like stimulants & some can act more like antipsychotics.
