Lean ham or back bacon - higher protein and lower fat. High fat bacon tastes great, but has to go to second choice for me.

I said other... mostly because I am not a fan of pork most times... I'll eat sausage or links, but only on rare occasions. Sometimes a piece of ham, but again... rarely.

I actually LOVE turkey bacon or turkey link sausage though... the texture and taste are sooooo yummy.

And now I've found my appetite... lol thanks

Crispy bacon. I love scrambled eggs with cream cheese, shredded cheese, and diced bacon (my breakfast this morning, with cayenne, basil, and pepper). I've been dieting for about 7 months now, have lost over 40 lbs, and breakfast is usually my biggest meal. It makes me happy to have a nice, fatty eggy bacon breakfast. Then I can be satisfied with a low calorie homemade stew or vegetable dish for lunch and dinner.

Bacon is part of the staple hangover cure (the fry up) over here, otherwise I rarely have meat for breakfast

I miss gophers. But not for breakfast. They're better at lunchtime. :p

(...and I don't like little birdies' stinky feet at all, doesn't matter what time of day.) ;)

If you eat a vegetarian animal does that make you vegetarian by proxy?

Lean Bacon is my first choice, a thick slice of ham is second.
For a while I used to make thin pork cutlets that I prepared ahead of time. They were less salty but could never compete with bacon.

Does scrambled eggs with ketchup count? Other than that, floppy bacon, I HATE crispy bacon, I love it when super fattening and juicy. c: Good thing my metabolism is ridiculously fast.
