IMHO, you're far from wrong here.....
it's like this, and i'm making the assumption here that you are of traditional college age, so correct me if i'm wrong.....you have all the time in the world for that!
concentrate on your schooling. find what it is that captivates your attention. dates come and go, and at least in my experience, dating only became a halfway understandable experience when i got my own stuff together and determined what it was i wanted in another person. and still i made mistakes.....save yourself the trouble. keep to the books, it's a lot less dangerous for now! finishing school with decent grades is going to do a lot more for your self-esteem and likely your future than would that fact that you could later claim to have been the king/queen of the campus social scene. take care.

I don't see any harm in having one or two or three women friends you can go see a movie with or dancing with as long as it's open and school comes first. IMHO people jump into relationships far too soon nowadays date around, be honest and let the other women know your not looking for a commitment until after school but you don't have to be lonely either.

mc it sounds like you have it figured out...what's right for you may not be right for me but then I don't have to live your life. Am I making any sense? If this is an arrangement your happy and comfortable with then I say go with it graduating should be your first goal anyways. It should have been my first goal but no I had to party cause my momma wasn't around watching me and then I had to YAHOO!!! and got pregnant luckily it was with a great and supportive man that I have managed to hold onto for over 13 years but it could have been so much uglier and all it cost me was my dream of being a nurse. STAY AWAY from booze and chicks from someone who knows.
Hugs good luck and I'm nosy...what are you studying?

It's just a tough call about the social i'm afaird long term it could be a negative but maybe i'm being paranoid. I think that as long as you maintain healthy friendships you should be ok...study partners? racketball? friends you dine out with? you don't have to be a party animal to interact with others . Just keep it to a managable amount of time a day or week, obviously this is somewere I totally failed but then I have insight so it's a positive thing I think....I need to go to bed and think about all this again I know what I want to say but can't seem to translate from my brain to my fingers...chasing my tail what fun!!!! :D

Mccoffee....
Don't worry about typos around here. We happen to have a strange affection for them.
And btw, everytime I look at your screen name it reminds me of the "C-O-F-F-E-E Coffee is Not For Me" song I learned in Brownies. I think that was officially an eternity ago.....
Good luck.
