There are only two medications that I have been prescribed that fully elude my understanding: Buspirone and Temazepam. I need help with Buspirone In the biochemical sense. I would appreciate insight How and why does it work. I understand it in terms of a business model.

Buspirone's anxiolytic effects are thought to come from it being a partial agonist at the 5-HT1A receptor. The 5-HT1A receptor is one of the many serotonin receptor subtypes.

IME I think I wouldn't see any difference between a placebo and buspirone.
