does anybody else have strange habits, like stamping your feet inthe car to mark the end and start of a parked car, wall or turn off? i do, and i don't like confrontations either, up until a few weeks ago, i was petrified of my guides leaders an i used to freeze when the cam near me of run away. now i can stand still and talk to my mates round them but not to them directly.

i can't eat while my mum's in the kitchen washing up or stuff.

i cant write, draw, iron, or stir stuff etc (DO things,...) while she's watching, and then tehre's also the rushing of her fo rme to do it, and i get worse and worse. i just try to stay calm and pretend se's not ehter, until she yells.

i have some ocd symptoms, lots actualy, like having to 'even up sides' of things, straighten things,

i have aso developed a great fear of having lost things, and i constantly check my bag to check i have my: purse, phone, keys, usb storage device.
even if i haent opened my bag, i still have to check its all there. its just a complete and utter anx about it.

and i cant walk around without fiddling with stuff. if i dont have anything to fiddle with, i'll fiddle with my shirt or the stringy strappy thing on my backpack (and that must look REALLY strange to others!. lately i'v tried carrying paperclips, coins, etc, to help with this. it only helps if you remember 1. to take it with you, 2. that you have it, 3. if you dont lose it.

and i alwasys seem to be counting 'parts' of walls and 'parts' or cars (esp the windows) and 'parts' of lines on the road, when im in a car or bus or train. i dont kno wwhy i do this. i used to think it was ocd and that i was 'checking' to see if its all there, but its jsut strange and i think its just that im distracted by so much, and that i like to explore the spacial nature of objects :). i'll sit down and stare at tiles, looking at the patters i can make, or at bricks. i'll count the outside lines of letters (i.e. the letter L would have 6 outlines but if you count it as a solit shape, it has 8 sides)
i always count 'outside parts' and 'holes' in the letters and numbers on car liscence plates

eg XOP . 248
x = value of one because it has no hole on it
o = value of 2, since it has both an outline and a hole
p = value of 2
2 = value of 1
4 = value of 1
8 = value of 3, since it has an outline and 2 holes

bear in mind, i do this in about 1 second for each number plate, and im not actualy counting to gather up a numerical value. i dont kno why i do it? i also sometimes do it with street signs or other signs. and words on a page, but in a more broad sense, or the lines of words on a page.

I cant listen to music with someone else in the room. I walk on my heels and the balls of my feet. I bite the inside of my mouth when i'm bored.
