I'm ADD/bi-polar. And have been taking Paxil for a long time for social anxiety and OCD. And I've tried pretty much every SSRI there is. But none of them even come close to working for social anxiety as much as Paxil does. But I feel like the Paxil has been slowly turning me into a zombie in the process of time. And now I discover that it contains "Fluoride". And that definitely has me a little worried. What do you guy's think?

just saw your post now.

The fluorine that is in the Paxil molecule is completely different from "fluoride" found in toothpaste. The fluorine in paxil is strongly attached the molecule and does not become free of the molecule. When Paxil is metabolized - the fluorine is still attached and the whole drug gets excreted.

Do not worry one bit about the fluorine.

Umm. . .this is like worrying about the baking soda in your cocaine.

If your Paxil is working for you, keep up with it. If it isn't, switch to something else.
