Research Study 6-17 year olds with inattention or fidgeting (ADHD)
This is a study of inattention and hyperactivity in children and adolescents. To be eligible for the study, your child must be:
•Ages 6-17
•In good physical health
•Either already diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or may have problems paying atention or difficulty sitting still

To be be eligible for the study, your child cannot:
•Use alcohol or drugs
•Have had major head trauma
•Have migraine headaches or seizure disorder
•Have major depression
•Have bipolar disorder
•Have anxiety disorders
•Have major development problems
•Be taking any prescribed medications other than stimulants for ADHD

Children and teenagers with ADD/ADHD are asked to volunteer to help us validate computer-based tasks that will measure both attention capacity and ability to be still. Free comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Up to 3 visits, each visit may take up to three hours. Your child gets $50 per visit paid at the end of his or her participation by check.
