View Full Version : Good Protein Ideas for Breakfast?

I realize that having protein is important to have at meals, especially for ADD people. Right now I'm having tuna and trying to prepare it differently every day. However, I find that it's very boring (and even draining) to have the same thing every day.

Any ideas for a cheap protein for breakfast? I'd love to break it up with a nice slice of ham every once in a while but that's way too expensive.

Protein powder at Costco (5 pound bag) is like $40 but lasts a looong time.

Try some deli meat. Sometimes stores have some meats for $1.99-$2.99 a pound.

Buy some raw meat and and cook it. Look into a stores meat section.

Eggs, high in protein and very cheap. I don't think they are as bad for your cholesterol levels as they are made out to be but I could be wrong (or you could just have the egg white :scratch:)

Ground flax seeds(also called linseed). You could for example sprinkle some on your cereals in the morning (or anything else).
