Research has found, for example, that tweaking the balance between beneficial and disease-causing bacteria in an animal's gut can alter its brain chemistry and lead it to become either more bold or more anxious.
Such findings offer the tantalizing possibility of using beneficial, or probiotic, bacteria to treat mood and anxiety disorders.

PHB is produced by microorganisms (such as Ralstonia eutrophus or Bacillus megaterium) apparently in response to conditions of physiological stress. The polymer is primarily a product of carbon assimilation (from glucose or starch) and is employed by microorganisms as a form of energy storage molecule to be metabolized when other common energy sources are not available.

Polyhydroxybutyrate ->- b-hydroxybutyrate (ketone bodies) as the ultimate in probiotics.

You're gonna' need to eat little, eat ketogenic, fast and exercise within an environment of low psychological stress
- to keep blood glucose fluctuations from sending us out of ketosis.

We need the good bacteria to be swimming in b-hydroxybutyrate.

[Physical] Stress (selection) leads to bacteria using polyhydroxybutyrate as fuel.
[Physical] Stress (selection) leads to humans using betahydroxybutyrate as fuel.

PHB must have been the food source which encouraged that direct mitochondrial precursor organism to settle down within host bacterial cell as endosymbiont

- and give rise to eukaryote.

That's a really big deal !

The ketone body is our fella' - if a healthy life without pain is desired.

No disease on Athos.

Quantitative results showed a 30-fold increase of acetone concentration (5.8 ppmv) compared to control measurements of a volunteer.

Game over - [clinical] biochemistry of [aerobic] metabolism wins.

That'd be the big guy.

The probiotic diet also blunted animals' physiological responses to the stress of the forced-swim test, causing them to produce lower levels of the stress hormone corticosterone. And in the mice fed Lactobacillus, some brain regions showed an increase in the number of receptors for gamma-aminobutyric acid, or GABA—a neurotransmitter that mutes neuronal activity, keeping anxiety in check.

We present evidence that ketosis can lead to the following:
2) enhanced conversion of glutamate to GABA

low psychological stress == survival essentials (food/shelter) available to all by personal contribution of effort.

End to legal system and money.

Money/Legal system merely serves to maintain inequality
- enforced chronic psychological stress in rich and poor alike.

ADDers need to be free to dream.

I like the title :)

I eat the yoghurt stuff. The custard flavour is my favourite. I mix sugar into it. :)
