The other day my husband had an idea. He told me that if I cleaned my bathroom, he would paint it for me. The bathroom was cleaned within 2 days. I thought WOW, that was easy. He should have told me to clean all three bathrooms.:p and he would paint mine. He just finished painting my bathroom.:D

I wish I could reward myself the same way he rewarded me. I have tried rewarding myself in the past when I get things done, but it never works. I have tried to clean and reward myself with computer time, video games, and reading. I haven't gotten very far with it.

I hope he comes up with a new deal soon so I will be able to organize our bedroom.

It works both ways....My husband and I never seem to have the energy to work on projects in the house after working 40+ hours a week, so we offer each other things...if you help me clean the house I'll let you go target practicing, if you help me rake the leaves I'll keep the kids out of your hair for two hours so you can play on the computer. Life is so much more fun with rewards. We challenge each other too when feeling frisky (won't get into it) but basically it's "Let's see who can complete their chores first...winner gets?!!!! (*whispers* ya know?).
